Well actually, I’ve mostly been wrapped up in blankets on a sofa while the cold my husband had been incubating, decided it had imposed on his hospitality enough and it was time for a change of scenery. Normally my body is a temple. Currently it is a holiday complex for what feels like the bacterial equivalent of Club 18 – 30.
But fear not gentle reader. This is not a post about interestingly coloured bodily fluids. Whilst I’ve been curled up, I’ve had time to knit. I had an exciting delivery from the frankly wonderful Sheepfold arrive last week. After I finished the 2nd commission on Wednesday, I was able to play!. So I’ve been working on a new “Roman” sweater for the shop.
This yarn comes from the “brown” range of natural, undyed fibres available at Sheepfold. It’s a beautifully rich chocolate and I am a little bit in love with it.
The sweater should be finished by the end of the week so I’ll let you see the completed garment when it’s all blocked and sewn. Then I’ll share some new sweater designs with you.
In the meantime, I need more tea and a steam bowl.
