I’ve been working on a commission for the last week or two. I sometimes knit for Eribe Knitwear and a couple of weeks ago, they asked if I’d knit some scarves for them. Lovely chunky yarn is perfect for this chilly weather so I’ve been in heaven. Yes it’s work but I can still enjoy it.
The movement of stitches is really inspiring me. The way the knitting moves around itself, really emphasises the 3D nature of cables. The second scarf should be done by Monday which means I’ll be able to get back to some of my own work. It feels like ages since I’ve done anything for Triskele Designs. The good news is that there are lots of designs to work on so there should be lots to share with you in the next few weeks.
