How cosy do they look?

The charm of these garments comes from the handmade quality of them. You could buy something in a huge shop and have a garment just like everyone else that keeps you warm and may last a year or two. Then again you could buy something that may cost a little bit more but is a joy to wear, will last forever and so warm and soft, you’ll find excuses just to wear it. “No I didn’t turn the heating off just to wear my gorgeous scarf … it’s … broken. Yeah the heating broke and now I have to wrap myself in my scarf. Damn”.

The garments are elegant because they have such strong lines. Not lots of fuss and distractions, just simple, classic shapes, beautifully executed. What more could you want? Stylish and practical.

If you are in the Macclesfield area, get yourself along to the Treacle Market in Chestergate between 10am and 3.30pm. on the last Sunday of the month. You’ll be able to touch all that lovely softness. (With clean hands obviously), For those of us who are geographically hampered, there is always the Etsy shop which is home to the same gorgeous things without the tactile experience.

Stay warm and snuggly folks
