A Sense of Acheivement.

Isn’t it strange how things work out. Last week was mildly frustrating and it was the first time I didn’t complete all my assigned tasks for the week. Realising that I was fighting a losing battle, I concentrated on finishing the studio sample. Everything else could wait.

This week got off to a flying start. On Monday, all household chores were attacked and whilst washing some hand kits, I soaked all my studio samples and blocked them. One task done. Tomorrow I’ll post them when I’m in town so that’s another task done with – 3 to go. If I’m properly focused tomorrow morning, I’ll get the front of my latest shop sweater done. That leaves just 2 tasks. with still Friday afternoon and the weekend left to finish them. I may even get Sunday all to myself.

Of course, I’ll probably end up spending the Sunday afternoon on the next batch of studio samples – I’ll be starting them next Monday. I’ve already got some planned, based on previous experiments but it’s nice to feel that I’ve got it all organised. It means I can just concentrate on doing the actual knitting. And you know that’s my happy place.
