Holiday Round-Up

I’m back at work tomorrow and looking forward to it. I’ve enjoyed my rest but I’m bursting with ideas for more samples. For some reason I’m on cable kick mixed with … unconventional construction which is  really exciting. It’s a great feeling to be going back to work with a definite idea. I don’t feel that I’m wasting time.

I’ll also be able to start some new projects for myself having got some things off my needles. The 2 knee-high socks are done and dusted and I finished my sweater last Saturday. I even sneaked in an extra sock whilst we spent most of this weekend in the pub. I’ve also been working a baby shawl for my mum-to-be friend which is my new knitting crush now the lace holes are starting to emerge.

My holiday hasn’t just been knitting. I spent time with friends and taking care of myself. Ian and I celebrated his birthday and we were able to enjoy the sunshine.

I’ve enjoyed my time off but I’m looking forward to getting back to work. I’ve got so many ideas to execute, I’ll certainly be busy for the next few months.
